Beetroot Fish By Chef Zakir.

  • Beetroot Fish.
  • Ingredients
    Beetroot (boiled) 2
    Potatoes boiled 2
    Dill ¼ bunch
    Fish fillet 300 gm
    Lemon juice 2 tbsp
    Salt to taste
    Black pepper powder ¼ tsp
    Garlic paste 1 tbsp
    Oil 3 tbsp
    Capsicum 1
    Tomato 1
    Onion 1
    Crushed red pepper 1 tsp
    Oil for fry
    Dry flour ½ cup
  • Method
    • Cut fish into cubes, also chop potatoes and beetroot into small cubes.
    • In a bowl mix together fish cubes, salt to taste, black pepper and lemon juice. Mix well.
    • Spread ½ cup flour in a platter. Now coat fish and potato cubes in dry flour. Then deep fry till golden brown. Remove from oil and keep aside.
    • In another wok heat 2 – 3 tbsp oil. Add 1 tbsp garlic paste and sauté till brown.
    • Now add 1 chopped capsicum and 1 chopped onion. Fry well for 1 minute.
    • Then add fried potatoes, fried beetroot, tomato, chopped dill, salt to taste and crushed red pepper. Mix well.
    • Lastly add in fried fish and toss, then dish it out and serve hot.
