Cullen Prawn By Chef Zakir.

  • Cullen Prawn.
  • Ingredients
    Prawns ½ kg
    Butter 2 – 3 tbsp
    Onion 1 medium
    Milk 300 ml
    Potatoes Boiled 2
    Fresh cream ½ cup
    Parsley chopped ¼ bunch
    Salt to taste
    Black pepper powder ¼ tsp
    Garlic chopped 2 – 3 cloves
    Flour roasted 2 tbsp
    Red capsicum 1.
  •  Method
    • Heat 2 – 3 tbsp butter in a wok, add in 2 – 3 cloves of chopped garlic, sauté for a few seconds.
    • Then add ½ kg washed and cleaned prawns. Fry well for 1 – 2 minutes. Then remove the fried prawns and keep them aside.
    • In the same wok add 1 chopped onion and 1 chopped capsicum. Sauté for 1 – 2 minutes.
    • Then add 2 boiled chopped potatoes and 300 ml fresh milk. Cook till comes to a boil.
    • Thicken sauce with 2 tbsp roasted flour. Then add ½ cup of fresh cream, salt to taste, ¼ tsp black pepper, ¼ bunch of chopped parsley and fried prawns.
    • Toss gently, now dish it out and serve hot.
