• Fashion Designer Sonya Battla, returned to Karachi after completing her degree in fashion from Central St Martins and opened her first boutique in 1999.
• In these 16 years she has reinvented the easternshalwar kameez in a multitude of ways, with innovative cuts, and restrained elegance. 
• Her label continues to expand within Pakistan and abroad. 
• She recently showcased her collection at the Prêt a Porter Paris, was invited to show at The Royal Albert Hall in 2005, and was the official brand ambassador for Pakistan at the Lakme India Fashion Week in 2007.
